About Connect Street Fair

The Connect Street Fair is an annual event hosted by The Caring Place. The event is meant to explore diversity through art and culture, as well as bring awareness to the mental health issues present in our community. Last year, over 3,000 people attended the event

What’s Going On?

Vendor Booths

The 2018 Connect Street fair will feature a number of local vendor booths. These will sell items such as handmade jewelry, soaps

Food Trucks

The Connect Street fair will feature a collection of local food trucks for the event. Those coming include Bon Burger, The Bannock House, Queen City Foot Long, and Fairy Frozen Treats.

Live Music, Dance, and Drama Performances

The Connect Street Fair will feature a main stage, with ongoing performances throughout the day.

A Walk in Balance and Beauty

As part of the fundraising for this event, we will be hosting a Walk in Balance and Beauty on the morning of the fair. This will cost $50 per participants, and will feature an hour long walk guided by an indigenous knowledge keeper and a Bannock breakfast, where participants will be encouraged to share what they learned on the walk.
