Help Us Help Others

Your donations can help so many people

Thank-you for your support of The Caring Place in 2016.

Your support has helped us to change lives – like Nancy’s {not her real name}

Nancy joined our new Art as Medicine program this fall – joining us as a victim of childhood abuse. Our new Art room is in the basement level and when Nancy saw the stairs she turned around and crawled down them backwards – her development arrested at the stage of her abuse!

Nancy loves the Art program – learning to explore her story and express her pain through painting, dance, music, pottery and journals. Three short months later Nancy is skipping down the stairs, a big smile on her face!

We would like to thank …

The Scotia Bank for the new walls and furniture for the Art Therapy Program and for the $5,000 donation to counselling

The Dilawri Group for sponsoring the speaker – Margaret Trudeau for the 2016 Mayor’s Luncheon

Westridge Construction for sponsoring the Mayors Luncheon

Great West Life for sponsoring the Mayor’s Luncheon

Fries Tallman for their support throughout the year for all our counselling programs

Sask Power for their $3,000 donation towards our Art Therapy Program

Eastview Rotary Club for sponsoring our Anxiety/Depression Group Monday Evenings for a month with a donation of $1,200.

We would also like to thank

The many individuals, churches, volunteers & corporations

Who have generously shared with us in time, in-kind support and financially this year. Your support has made it possible for us to provide over 5,000 hours of counselling as well as begin a new ART AS MEDICINE program this year.

From all of us at The Caring Place – the counselors, staff, and board.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Building our future with you.

Your talents, skills, and love for people are needed and welcomed by The Caring Place, where there are opportunities for you to help us with a number of celebratory events and initiatives. Once again, look for more information coming to you shortly.

We look forward to meeting each of you personally at the celebrations throughout this important year, and we thank you for your financial support of The Caring Place.

We Need Your Help

Please Donate!

The Caring Place takes clients regardless of ability to pay.

As a result, many people who otherwise could not afford professional counselling find help at The Caring Place. Our Client Support Fund is currently running very low. So we need your help to help other people less fortunate!
